Exterior Cleaning in South Loop

South Loop is eight minutes from our shop. The housing stock here is different from the neighborhoods south of it. It's townhome rows, roof decks, balconies, and condo buildings. The properties are newer, the lots are tighter, and the expectations are high.

The townhome rows along Prairie and Calumet have roof decks that need deck staining every two to three years. The roof decks take full sun and full weather. The stain wears off the horizontal surfaces first because that's where the water sits. We strip, wash, dry, sand, and stain them with a commercial-grade stain that lasts on horizontal surfaces.

The balconies on the townhomes need pressure washing to remove the green and black growth that builds up on the deck surface. The water from the deck above drips onto the deck below, and that constant moisture grows algae. We soft wash the balcony surfaces and railings.

Window washing is a big job in South Loop. The townhomes have tall window lines, and the condo buildings have shared glass that needs regular cleaning. We use a water-fed pole system for the exterior glass up to four stories. For the interior glass, we coordinate with the unit owners and work around their schedules.

We handle condo and HOA common-area contracts in South Loop. That means we clean the shared walkways, the common-area glass, the lobby entries, and the rooftop decks. We work with the HOA board to set up a recurring schedule. Monthly or quarterly, depending on the building.
