Overview & Process
Every November, two things happen in Chicago: the temperature drops and the ladders come out. Climbing a frozen roof to hang lights is how people get hurt. We handle the whole season so you don't have to.
We custom-cut commercial-grade C9 LED strings to your roofline, install them with non-damaging clips, set up smart timers, maintain them through December, and take everything down in January. The lights go into labeled bins in our storage, not your garage. Next year, we bring them back.
This is a turnkey service. You don't buy lights, you don't untangle lights, you don't climb a ladder in 20-degree weather.
What Every Chicago Homeowner Should Know
The South Side does Christmas big. In Beverly, I'm wrapping 30-foot blue spruces with 2,000 feet of LED string. In Bridgeport and Pilsen, it's roofline and front porch columns on a two-flat. Tighter spaces, different clips. The mistake I see every year: homeowners who buy big-box LED strings and try to DIY. Those strings aren't rated for a full Chicago winter. The connections corrode, bulbs crack in sub-zero temps, and by Christmas Eve half the strand is dark. Commercial-grade C9 LEDs are rated to -40 degrees with sealed sockets. That's why we use them. If your roof has ice dams, don't nail lights into the ice. Call us and we'll flag it for safe removal.

Service FAQs
Do I own the holiday lights or do you provide them?
We provide all commercial-grade LED lights, clips, timers, and cords as an all-inclusive service package. You pay for the installation, maintenance, takedown, and storage. The hardware stays with us between seasons.
When do you start installing Christmas lights in Chicago?
Installations begin in mid-October and run through mid-December. Earlier bookings get better scheduling slots. Takedowns happen during the first two weeks of January.
What happens if a bulb burns out during December?
Text or call Moe at (217) 722-5379. We come out within 24 hours to replace any failed bulb or fix loose clips, no charge. It's part of the package.
Do you install lights on trees and shrubs, not just rooflines?
Yes. We wrap tree trunks, branches, columns, and entryways with custom-cut LED strings. Full-property designs are our specialty on larger South Side lots.
