Sidewalks and Storefront Entries

Foot traffic, gum, spilled drinks, and kitchen grease build up on the concrete in front of your business faster than anywhere else on the block. We use a hot-water pressure washer at 3,000 to 4,000 PSI through a rotary surface cleaner, so the sidewalk comes out even, with no zebra stripes. Grease and oil get a commercial degreaser pre-treatment and dwell time before we rinse.

Restaurant Grease and Dumpster Pads

The restaurants on Wentworth, Cermak, 18th Street, and Randolph vent grease that bakes into the sidewalk every summer. We degrease those surfaces on weekly and bi-weekly schedules for restaurants now. Dumpster pads and back-of-house concrete get the same hot-water treatment, which also cuts the smell and the pests that come with it.

Building Facades

Brick, greystone, and limestone facades get a soft wash, never high pressure. The detergent kills the algae and lifts decades of soot. The mortar stays intact and the stone doesn't get etched. We flag any mortar that already needs repointing before we wash.

Parking Areas and Shared Drives

We clean oil stains and tire marks from small lots and shared driveways, and pair it with driveway sealing where the asphalt needs protection from salt and freeze-thaw.

Recurring Schedules

  • Weekly or bi-weekly for restaurant frontage
  • Monthly for most retail and storefront sidewalks
  • Spring salt-residue wash for every property on a snow contract
  • One flat monthly rate per property, no per-visit invoicing

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you remove grease from the sidewalk in front of a restaurant?

Yes. We use a hot-water unit with a commercial degreaser pre-treatment. Cold water doesn't break down grease; it just smears it. The hot water lifts it so it rinses away completely.

How often should a storefront sidewalk be cleaned?

Weekly or bi-weekly for restaurants with heavy grease output, monthly for most retail. A one-time deep clean looks good for about a week. A recurring schedule keeps it that way.

Can you wash brick and limestone facades?

Yes, with a soft wash. High pressure etches limestone and blows out old mortar. We use a low-pressure detergent application that lifts soot and algae without damaging the masonry.

Do you work before business hours?

Yes. We schedule storefront and restaurant washing before opening, after close, or on weekends.
